Achievements:

  •  Gold medallist at District, State, and National level karate championships till 2004.

  • She has been selected thrice to represent India in the World cup. 

  • She brought laurels to INDIA, when she won a Bronze medal in the year 2005, Greece, KOI World Cup and Silver Medal in 2007, Bulgaria at KOI World Cup.

  • She is the only woman in South India and the second in India to have cleared her exam for being a karate judge at the Asian and world level in Spain in 2013.

  • She upgraded her Judge certification to Judge A in Bremen, Germany-2014.

  • The only qualified Woman as a self –defense trainer.

  • Life achievement award by Superstar Shri Rajinikanth, on 8th March 2018, Women’s day, in recognition as the only Indian woman to have more than 30 years of Practice in karate.

Sonika is a veteran practitioner and teacher of martial arts like Karate and Tai Chi for close to 30 years. She believes that martial arts are not just defence arts, but they have healing powers.  The physical movements, meditation, and breathwork are done as part of these martial arts help us move the Chi (Qi) or the Universal Energy Force present in our bodies and remove all the emotional, physical, and mental blockages, helping us live a physically and mentally healthy life.

She has been combining aspects of Physical health, Mindfulness, Emotional balance, and stability to organize workshops revolving around Motivation and Self Defense.

Over the years Sonika has deepened her studies and has learned multiple Energy Healing modalities, and has developed her unique style of combining all of these techniques to help people with deep healing of various mental and physical issues like Diabetes, Muscle Spasms, Nervous System Disorders, Depression, etc.

Taichi Is the philosophy, so start moving and start your understanding. Principles of Taichi practice can be applied to a student's lifestyle.

Introduction to Important basic energy points.
TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the belief that the body consists of a network of energy channels called meridians. QI or bio-energy travels through these meridians to bring vital energy to the body. The cultivation and healthy flow of Qi are essential for longer, healthier life and for fast recovery from illness and injury.

Taichi teaches the body to move and change more easily and effortlessly. We will be doing these exercises to explore how the mechanics of Taichi warm-ups literally change everything about how you move, while preparing you mentally, emotionally, and physically for Taichi.

Hand and Eye Coordination Movements with Breathwork


A definitive requisite to learn Taichi movements or Forms. To prepare you mentally emotionally and physically for Taichi.

(can be done by all age groups)


The coordination of hand and eye movements brings clarity/focus and balance in all aspects. Breathwork with coordinated movements brings forth calmness, and expansiveness and reduces fatigue, and relaxes the mind and body, reducing stress and hypertension.
